But I created this system to help you achieve just that. This is a complete, original and effective Self-Monitoring Behavior Improvement System based on the principles of applied behavior analysis and designed by a special education teacher and ABA behavioral therapist. This behavior management system is focused on students managing and monitoring their own behaviors. It was very important to me when developing this system not to add more to the teacher's to-do list.
As a teacher myself, I know that we already have enough on our plates, and this system is designed to put the behavior management into the students' hands. They are responsible for rating their ability to display and maintain their target behaviors throughout a specific class period or school day. This system is a structured guideline, but can be adjusted to fit almost any school setting.
